Biography Denis Leiper was born in Stonehaven in 1951 and has run the Riverside Gallery there for some 25 years. It now has a reputation throughout the country for showing quality work by contemporary artists living and working in Scotland Denis has painted all of his adult life, but due to family and work commitments chose the part-time art-education route, via Aberdeen's Gray's School of Art and also Peacock Printmakers in Aberdeen. Like most painters the process of development is on-going and presently he is establishing a link with the landscape, with his most recent work.
